CHRISTY PAULSON - Owner

 

My name is Christy Paulson and I own and operate Pawtastic! Pet Care LLC. Pets are my passion and I have over 25 years of pet care experience.  I obtained my bachelor's degree in business from the University of St. Thomas in 2000.  During both high school and college I worked at a veterinary hospital and eventually became the office manager. After I graduated college I became a hospital director with Banfield Pet Hospitals (the vet offices located inside of PetSmart stores). I got my first experience with pet sitting while working in the veterinary field. I loved pet sitting for veterinary clients who had pets with special medical needs and needed help when traveling. I left veterinary medicine after having my first child and was a stay at home mom for 8 years. I began professionally pet sitting when both of my children entered school full time. I have lived in Rogers for 20 years now. Currently, I live with my husband, two teenage sons, a Hungarian Vizsla, & one spoiled cat who is the queen of the house!  I love spending time with my dogs & we have enjoyed therapy dog work, rally, conformation, agility, & lure coursing together.

 

I love working with new puppies as it's very rewarding to help owners with socialization and training. I have trained many, many puppies over the years!  I also have a lot of experience with senior pets, pets with special needs, and administering all types of medications.  I am trained in Pet First Aid & CPR. I feel very blessed to have a job that I absolutely love and to be able to provide peace of mind for pet owners when they are away.
